Congratulations Lizzie

Lizzie Driscoll, one of our Discover Materials Ambassadors, has been awarded the prestigious IOM3 Robert Perrin Award for her outstanding and sustained commitment to outreach.

Amongst her amazing portfolio of outreach work she has been instrumental in helping deliver the battery recycling sections of the Discover Materials stands at Big Bang 2022 and 2023, helped develop activities for the CoCoElectroBag project and has written a great webpage about the Li-ion batteries that can be found here.  Also she gave a talk to fellow Discover Materials Ambassadors about how to translate research into publishable outreach activities, a recording of this can be found here: https://youtu.be/U5ZX4j8D60U.
