Big Bang Fair – Leyton Sixth Form College

On 23^rd April, Leyton Sixth Form College in east London hosted a Big Bang Fair event which attracted around 800 students from secondary schools across the capital to learn different  route to a range of careers in STEM fields.

Discover Materials  was represented by Thomas Thorn and Ambreen Tajmal. – both ambassadors at Queen Mary University London who took the Busking Box and the audience were enthralled with the shape memory alloys, shear thickening materials and superhydrophobic surfaces.

The event was a success and we have been invited to return next year.
