Materials Science Buzzing at the Hive

On a cold January day in Worcester people warmed themselves up by visiting STEMFest 2025 at The Hive.

We were there in 2024 and loved it so much we returned this year where visitors learned about the mechanical properties of chocolate by using the impact tester and our fantastic ambassadors wowed more than 150 visitors on the stand by showing off some amazing fantastic smart materials from the busking box – one child loved the amazing space (generated by our slinky and a plastic cup) that they borrowed the demonstration to show off to his friends and family – what a fantastic way to kick off the year.
